Maybe I just don't get out enough, but I
saw a double barrel .410 today that used
a derringer as its receiver. It appeared
some manufacturer had taken a regular derringer, added 16 inch barrels and a
plastic stock. Did not look like it will
every make it "classic double" category, but
is kind of interesting. Anyone know anything
about this gun? Who makes it?

Sounds like the FMJ shotgun version of their side by side derringer. They are ugly and crude, but functional in a minimailst kind of way. I had a derringer model of it and it worked like a charm. I think they go for about 125.00 or so.
