"A Public Service," by Thomas Sowell
I came across an interesting column, "A Public Service," by one of my favorite columnists, Thomas Sowell.
I thought it was funny in the part where he said, "Gun control laws are in effect occupational safety laws — OSHA for burglars, muggers, car jackers and others." I never thought about it in quite that way but it is true. It is also warped in a way to afford criminals protection in pursuit of their criminal activities. It says a lot, in general, about those who support gun control laws... Here is the link to the whole column: http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell122116.php3 |

I too enjoy Thomas Sowell he is indeed a very gifted and well spoken intellectual. It is sad that in this country more people listen to the words of people like Lena Dunham than scholarly thinkers like Mr. Sowell.
