Lasers for an XDm 9 mm
I am looking to get a laser for my XDm 9 mm Full size. This is a home defense handgun.
I see some that are rail mounted and maybe one that fits in the spring tube. What are the reliable ones? Last edited by Hoosier_Daddy; March 27, 2011 at 05:59 PM. |

How much is your budget? You can spend $30 - $1000.

Rough uneducated guess is 250 to 400. Unless a good used one pops up.

My 2 bits on laser aimers AKA; laser sights...
For a HD(defense) type S-A XDm pistol, I'd look into a green dot type unit from Lasermax or maybe a white light/red dot laser system.
Green dots are brighter & more powerful but a red dot type could work. The Lasermax guide-rod types are okay but the laser dot pulses. Human eyes are drawn to movement but I prefer the steady bright light. Check here for more options/prices/equipment; www.Galls.com www.PoliceHQ.com www.Crimsontrace.com . CF ps; Get a decent laser aiming unit not some cheap Mall-Ninja crap. CT also offers free DVDs to explain lasers & the tactical/defense use. |
