You're there. You should know the laws in your state. I'm sure that they are on the 'net'.

To figure out California, or any other states gun laws, you

need to find a specific discussion list for that state. Otherwise you get a lot of folks jumping in with "well in my state we can (or can't) do this and it just makes everything more confusing.

CA. gun laws

I am an ffl holder and to answer your question about older guns - The answer is NO they are not exempt in CA. The only ones that are exempt are black powder.

re:iamdug

I do believe the following guns are still exempt. But don't count on it lasting forever in the Golden State.

Of course, any modifications to these guns and all bets are off.

Exactly...

I went onto the Ca gun law sights on the WEB. I don't speak lawyer

Royreali, funny stuff by the way, but haven't you heard?!?!?! You have to have a special liscense in California to sell Red Ryders!!! Enviromentalist groups are onto the manufacturer saying all the kills are inhumane. I hav one and you can actually follow the bb until it hits the bird So Im gonna stock up on them. There's only a few stores that sell them in Fresno County now.
