Looking for info on a side by side
I recently inherited a j stevens springfield .20 gauge side by side from my Grandfather. The serial# is 784527. Can anyone date this gun? I think it may be a model 5100 from what I've seen around, but there is no model designation on it. There is a circle on the bottom around the pivot area with what looks like an 'I' and '7' inside the circle.
He also had an Excel single shot .20 gauge crack barrel serial# 89733XF that I cant seem to find anything about.... Any help here would be appricated! Thanks! |

Perhaps you should cross-post this in Harley Noland's Institute for Firearms Research forum.
