Cheapest current source for 30 caliber, 150g FMJs?
Does anyone know a cheap place to get these that have them in stock?
The best price i have found is 15 cents per bullet. |

That's about a good a price as you're going to get.
River Valley Ordnance used to sell 152gr FMJBT for $55/1000. But those sold out FAST. I just use 147gr M80 bullets for my 30-06 loads and those run me about $150/1000 brand new. Not much different at MidwayUSA who sells Hornady 150gr FMJBT for around the same price. |

Just buy the 150 grain Hornady. I did some load testing with the 150 Hornady and found it to be an outstanding value.
I also shot 148 grain (weight average) IMI FMJ's. They are acceptable for busting rocks. Ten rounds, 100 yards, 150 FMJ BT Hornady's Ten rounds, 100 yards, 148 FMJ BT IMI |

There's a guy on Gunbroker selling surplus pulled M80 ball, prices vary depending on the number (100 to 2000) and his prices seem to be going up, it was less then $10/100 but now is closer to $15/100 I think....just do a search on M80 or M-80. If you're just plinking Hi-Tec still has M62 surplus tracers listed, 3000 for $175 (but there's the hazmat and shipping fees), no pull marks and no tip color and only 20% are suspossed to light....I haven't used them but have used their M25s in 30-06 plinking reloads.
