buying a s&w 422

I am picking up a s&w 422 today to try out. He wants $100 for the it. I'm looking for other opinions on it.

My 422 is one of my favorite shooters. Lightweight, accurate. The paint is peeling off, but it's functionally perfect.

I'd buy it. As a matter of fact, if you don't want it, pm me the seller's address... .

Anything these days (except Jimenez, Jennings, and the like) for $100 is a bargain.

But the 422 for $100 is a really good deal, IMO.

If it works, that would be a great deal.

If you don't like it pm me, I will buy it. The one I have is the most used handgun I own.

That is quite a deal. If I was going to sell my 422 I'd expect at least $250-$300. I'm sure you could sell it at a gun show easily if you are unhappy with it.

The real trick now is finding ammo.

Had one, loved it, got foolish, & sold it. I'd say go for it.

Yes I bought it and so far love it shoots great. Pulled it apart and cleaned it, I don't think it was ever cleaned before it was full of crap.
