Singing bird pistols up for auction
Here's a pair of singing bird pistols. I don't think Colonial Williamsburg has the money or time to recreate these:
http://www.christies.com/features/si...en-1422-3.aspx Twenty years ago a single pistol went for $1 million dollars. At $2.3 million and considering that the case is included, it's much cheaper today than it was back then. Remember, the dollar has devalued tremendously since 1990.

At a duel at 20 paces, once I see the bird pop out and begin to sing, I'd have to shoot my dueling pistol in the air and say;
"good show Sir, but my wife does not look like a hippo, Good day to you" And try not to laugh to hard as me and my second stomp off the field.
