Bounty hunter II question
In cowboy shooting, my spent 12 ga. shells will not slide out easy like most other shooters. I understand one can "polish" the inside of the barrel and this will allow the shells to fall out much easier. How does one go about this and what supplies would I need?

First, clean the chambers carefully. These are the very back end of the barrels that hold the shells. While most bores are kept clean, the chambers are oft neglected and buildup grunge and gasp, RUST!
Once they're clean, use 4/0 steel wool on a dowel in a variable speed drill to polish the chambers, then relube. This should do it. |
