I'm a big fan of DSA Arms Uppers myself....just my preference...have never had any issues with my 2....I've got a 14.5 and a 16

I plan on doing a 20" build next as my 5.56 long range

have heard their customer service is the bomb if needed as well

The BCM midlength barrel is an excellent choice and I'd try to get their BCG too. I have their upper with the 16" LW midlength barrel and love it.

You made a good choice. Both BCM and Spikes offer excellent stuff.

So far the build looks good. Just please don't get an aluminum gas block. Get a low profile steel block.

Thinking of picking up the YHM low profile. Only about 30 bucks. Wish I could find black gas tubes but seems Spikes is the only one that makes them and they are oos.

FN barrels are in my opinion the best military style barrel available for the AR15. They run around $199. My 16" mid pencil ultralight FN is MOA accurate. Thats amazing for a pencil.
