IMR 3031 for 130gr in .270 win?

Please advice if anyone of you reloads the 270 win with this type of powder mainly for hunting purposes?

its my last can since I stoped reloading for the ´06.

I have the chance to buy this obsolete rifle at a very cheap price that includes a swarovski scope, dies, bench press and reloading material.

is it worth the trouble?
what advantage will I have versus the .300 win mag?
