I doubt if many gunsmiths will do this in this day and time but has anyone delt with the cross bolt safety on the current leveractions made these days. I just plain hate them and I will never get used to them.I did read where Jeff Cooper wrote that somepeople are welding them in the fire position.I have also herd that someone makes a replacement part to swap out the offending part.Does anyone have any suggestions other than advice not to adress this problem due to potiential liability problems that might develope in case the gun was used in selfdefence or whatever?
