Rem. 7MM Ultra Mag

Anyone have any experience with this round? I was told by a 'smith that this caliber doesn't hold good groups with lighter bullets because of the 1 in 9 twist. I find this hard to believe because my 7 Mag and 7/08 both have 1 in 9 barrels and shoot the 140 gr bullets exceptionally well. Maybe the higher velocity affects it?

I have a 7mm RUM which is very accurate. Load development is important but the last concern I have about my RUM is its inherent accuracy. That being said there is more to accuracy than the caliber and twist of the barrel....
