Henry Survival Rifle

I have a Henry Survival 22 and a long time ago I spray painted the butt stock to match the barrel. I now want to remove the paint without damaging the stock - does anyone know of any way I can do this. Are there any products like Goof off that will help me trip the paint?

The barrel is plastic over an 22 insert. You'd best just repaint the entire gun. Stripping or sanding might damage the plastic.
