What ammo did you buy today, and were? LOL

SCORE! Two box's of Rem's 130g FMJ.

How about you, what ammo did you score today? LOL

I just had to start this OP, I walked into Walmart today like I do about 3-4 times a week, it's just down the road from me.

So, I was in the neighberhood, I thought I just do an ammo check and pick up some vitimans for my MoJo.

TBS, I have plenty of money to spare on ammo, I've won around $3500, plus or minus in 2013 so far, really about $2500 after tax's, and, putting some back, you don't win if you don't play. I had to claim a $2350 jackpot again (the others were in 2012, around $5000) as income, so I banked it. The rest is tax free in my sock dwar. Want my address in Vegas?

PS: I didn't need the ammo, I just thought they looked so lonely on the shelf by them self's, and I thought I'd burn an hoarder today.

If I want ammo I have to go to my ammo box and look there. It can't be found anywhere else around here.

I did get notification that ammo I ordered a couple weeks ago from Natchez has shipped. Trying to find any around here is a useless exercise.

The nice cashier behind the counter of the LGS I frequent said she'd set aside a few boxes of inexpensive 9mm (probably Blazer or Independence or something like that) for me if they get some in. Going to check tomorrow. Hopefully she'll have a present for me.

I received notification today my order from Precision Delta was shipped. Thousand .45 ACP and a thousand 9mm (bullets not rounds). I am in good shape on powders and large pistol primers.

My bench Just dropped below 2 thousand small pistol primers.

If you do not mind me asking, how long ago did you order them? I actually also ordered 1000 of both 45 and 9 back on 1/14 and have not received them yet. When I ordered, there was no message about delayed shipping, but now there is a message saying 4-6 weeks on those bullets.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jay, It was on Jan 2nd. Precision Delta did send me a notice saying they were two to three weeks behind in shipping from the holiday period.

I have also gone ahead and backordered small pistol primers from Powder Valley since they are still accepting orders. I doubt I will see those for several months. It is best to get your order in with Powder Valley before they stop accepting orders. This did happen a few years ago.

The shelves at my LGS were depleted of most common calipers, but I managed to score 6 boxes of M1 Carbine ammo. My little M1 is loving the panic. It hasn't had this much attention in years.
Of course I happen to have two 30-round mags and three 15-round mags, but that just makes me smile

Past few days I have been stocking up on my 9mm target ammo- I have an LGS 15 minutes away that is selling Lawman 50 rd boxes for $15.99- same price they have always charged. The only reason they still have any is they set a 2 box per person per day limit on it. I've gone by about 3-4 times...

picked up 150 rds of WWB 45 at wally world this past weekend... checked at another walmart I usually dont go to today and found they have 5 boxes of 9mm, 4 or 5 38 100 rd bulk packs, Some 32 and some 40 cal and a lot of hunting rifle caliber ammo...
No 12 ga "bulk packs" , 223, or 7.62
Limit was 3 boxes per customer per day so I picked up 3 boxes of 9mm for $40

Stopped into Lock N Load today and bought the 3 boxes of .308 that had just come in. They're restocked on most ammo for the moment otherwise. I got all excited at Spurlock's when I saw the boxes of CCI .22, until I noticed that they were .22longs not lr.

I bought a new Marlin 1894 in .357 today. Along with it I bought two boxes of Hornady Leverevolution ammo in .357 and a box of cheap .38 special.

I stopped at Wallyworld today hoping to snag some .22 ammo. I spotted 2 boxes of 9mm hiding behind some rifle ammo and scarfed them up just because.
No .22 ammo though. Only handgun ammo was 2 boxes of 38 spl, 1- 357 mag and 1- 44mag. Oh yeah, and some .380 for $31.97 a box. Why would anybody buy a .380 and not reload??????
