belt clip cartridge loops question
I have a leather belt clip with 6 .38 special/.357 Magnum cartridge loops. The loops are a little loose and the cartridges sit a tad loose in them. It is adequate, but certain movement might pull up cartridges.
As it is leather, would I be correct in saying that I could soak these loops, dry them by quick heating them in front of a heating system and shrink them a little in order to give the loops a better hold on the cartridges. |

Maybe, or maybe dry even faster with a hair dryer, but leather once stretched seems to stretch again very easy. Sounds like you have nothing to lose so you might as well try.
