Ruger SxS

Does anyone have any information regarding the (hopefully) soon forthcoming Ruger side-by-side shotgun. Any details would be much appreciated, thanks.

Kobra - this is what I have gotten so far. !2 gauge, SxS, 28 inch barrels, English-style stock, splinter fore-end, single selective trigger. Supposed to be available sometime in 2002. MSRP somewhere in the 1500 range, comparable to the O/Us. Supposed to be called the "Gold Label". I think there is a link to a photo posted somewhere on Shotgunsports.com but haven't checked it yet. Nothing Ruger web-site yet, but a couple of threads on the Ruger Forum (www.rugerforum.com) in the Rifle/shotgun section. I'm real anxious to see one. Have heard nothing about chokes but presume choke system would be the same as the Red Label. See one, heck....I'll probably for sure get one. Take care.

Ruger Gold label

Yes the gun will be called the gold label and will be available in both english style and pistol grip stocks. Will have single selective trigger and choke tubes.

There is a photo of one floating around somewhere but I cannot put my finger on it right now.

It will be a typical Ruger scattergun, Stainless steel receiver, blued barels and few if any refinements. A good field gun in teh tradition of Fox and Parker.

I bet they will be hard to get for a couple of years. I remember waiting six months for my 20 ga sporting clays model.
