Extractor Pin.
Hi everyone:
I am trying to remove the extractor from my SW 6906 but the pin seems to be very, very tight. I struck it a couple of times with a punch and since it didn“t come out I stopped trying in fear that I may break or mushroom the pin. No damage done but I need to replace the extractor. Do you have any usefull advice for me on this tight pin?? Any input would be highly welcomed. Thank you very much.

Hellequin, this pin is under pressure from the extractor spring. It may take a little extra umph to get it out. Make sure you have the correct drift for this. I always try to remove these type pins from the inside of the slide to avoid possibly scratching it. George

Dear George:
Which tools (drift, punches, etc) would you recommend to make this job in a good, fast, trouble free way?? Thanks.
