USAS-12; haven't seen one for sale in awhile...

What happened to all of the USAS-12's? You used to see at least one or two of these for sale on gunbroker. I figured that with all of the AK and AR 12-gauges out there, that there would be a steady supply of USAS-12's of these on the market by now. I have one (yes, registered). I was also wondering how many of those produced were actually registered by the owners. I do see "parts kits" show up from time to time - obviously from those that were never registered.

Does anyone know anything about the how many are actually still available?

I have only seen two in several years and it was in the hands of some kind of undercover cop/agent who was trying to sell it in some kind of "sting" at a gun show.

The other was at Knob Creek and it had a $2000 price tag. That was 4 years ago.
