Sig P220 standard trigger...?

Does anyone have the standard P220 replacement trigger in stock??? My goodness....I picked up a Sig P220 that had the skinny trigger and thought, "No biggie....I'll buy a replacement thicker trigger and be good." But no....can't find one in stock anywhere. Called Sig, they don't sell them...suggested a search of the web to find Midway, Brownells, etc... They're out. Midway is backordered until late May! Numrich only has the skinny one.

Any suggestions? My poor trigger finger keeps getting pinched, and I want to enjoy this fine gun!

You didn't say what color, here's a nickel one. TGS gets Sig parts pretty regularly, & will notify you when one comes in.

Thanks. Sorry, black, and yes, I'm on the "notify list" with TGS for when their black one gets in, but I'd like to find one soon, if possible, so I can enjoy my P220. With a proper grip, my trigger finger gets pinched every time....pretty irritating. If no retail outlet has one in stock, I may have to rely on finding one on the used market...

Here's a black one, but it's serrated, & over-priced, too.

An alternate route would be to buy the nickel trigger, then change it out when you can get a black one, you could always sell the nickel later.

Have the same problem with those skinny triggers.

Hey Broker....thanks! I appreciate the find. However, my P220 is a newer one so it has the 10mm trigger. I'll hold off and see if I can find a newer, 10mm width trigger that is NOT the skinny version.

Just called Sig....going to be at least a month on those, as they're all out of stock. Same with the 8 round magazines for the Sig P220. My goodness....I didn't think it would be this hard to find a simple part for a very common gun. Makes me want to go back to Glocks, as at least there are a thousand different vendors for Glock parts...

But in seriousness, I'm going to post a for-trade ad in case someone wants to go from regular-to-skinny on their trigger. Apparently the standard trigger part # is 34260200, and it's the same trigger on the P226, P228, P229, and P220, so that's at least somewhat common. Thanks for your help, and PM or e-mail me if you come across one!

Brownells?, Bruce Gray?....

I'd look into Brownells or maybe top SIG Sauer wizard Bruce Gray; Gray Guns.

It's probably due to me promoting replacing that silly short reach trigger with the standard P226 'solid' trigger to everyone that will listen. I know of at least a dozen that have been sold based on my advice alone. lol. Sorry about that.

I'm surprised TGS is out of stock. That's where I always get mine.

ClydeFrog.....Checked all of those, all out. I'm waiting to hear back from Gray Guns and IDP Tactical about their triggers. Who'd have thought it would be this hard, huh?

Sig Sauer, your skinny trigger sucks. Public service announcement...save your trigger fingers, write Sig Sauer a letter.

Uncle Malice, yup, TGS is out of stock...no ETA....and no apologies necessary...you did the right thing convincing people to replace that stupid trigger. Uncle Malice for President! With you're taste in firearms, you should be president of thefiringline.com for two consecutive terms.

Great....I called Gray Guns to speak with them about their trigger as they had 5 in stock, but they were pretty busy when I called so I offered to e-mail them instead. They said that'd be nice of me, and they'd get back to me ASAP and tell me if their trigger would fit in my P220 properly. Haven't heard back from them, and now I see their trigger is out of stock....figures! Who knew it would be so hard to get a stinking trigger for my Sig! I have one last option for a source...we'll see!

I have the trigger that came on my MK25 if that works for you. It's the larger style, it's just hot the little hollowed out area in the rear instead of being 1 big solid piece. Same shape as the standard(non thin) trigger.

It's brand new. I dropped the solid trigger I had on hand into my MK25 when I got it and put the SRT kit in.

Not that he needs the PR, as he's far more established here than I, but Uncle Malice hooked me up with a perfect trigger for my P220. Thanks man! You're an asset on this forum, and just a darn nice guy. That trigger is PERFECT and completes my P220. Much appreciated.

Pics....yeah, it looks just like it should....or, rather, just like the Sig P220 on the website.

But yes, hellofa difference fo sho over that skinny trigger. One thing I'll give that skinny trigger: It does help with the reach, as with the "deeper" trigger I noticed my hand position adjusted to reach toward the muzzle more. I'm sure someone prefers the skinny trigger, so I'll put that up for sale in a bit. If I had smaller hands or shorter fingers, that skinny trigger would be just dandy.
