Master of Chaos - Six-Day, 3-Gun, Reality-Based Training Program - August 25 - 30

Good Morning:

I wanted to alert you to an upcoming program we are offering called Master of Chaos. This is a six-day, 3-gun, reality-based training program for gun novices.

Master of Chaos "MoC3" was created for clients with no prior weapons experience who are interested in an accelerated, total immersion training experience. By the end of their MoC3 training they will have better shooting, gun-handling, maneuvering and tactical knowledge than most military or law enforcement personnel who have successfully completed their basic training requirements.

Master of Chaos is a multi-day reality-based training program that develops the skills and instincts needed to decisively win a lethal force encounter. The Master of Chaos programs utilize force-on-force reality-based training in order to hone client skills and techniques against some of the best instructors in the firearms industry.

MoC3 is a turnkey program that includes the weapons - we have specified a provisioning package (sold via a FFL dealer) consisting of handgun, rifle, shotgun, ammunition, accessories and carrying case. This package has been developed to Pulse O2DA specifications and includes all of the base weapon platforms plus tactical upgrades including holsters, slings, lights, optics, and sights.

The next program date is August 25 - 30, 2013 at Hollow Training Center in Mt. Carroll, IL.

Please visit Please visit http://www.pulsefirearmstraining.com...-of-chaos.html for more details on the Master of Chaos programs for more details on the Master of Chaos programs.

Thanks

Ron Danielowski a.k.a. "Silent Bob"

The Way of the Pistol at Tactical Response

August 3-7 2013

The Way of the Pistol

It was our goal to put together the most comprehensive pistol class in the world and we did it! This is a combination of our Fighting Pistol class (already regarded as the best 2-day class available) and our Advanced Fighting Pistol (touted by our students as the only REAL advanced class available) with some great additions like live fire low-light training, and Force on Force! This class is perfect for the inexperienced who want to get up to the highest level of proficiency as quickly as possible. It is also a fantastic opportunity for experienced shooters to rapidly increase skills in the areas that are the most important and put new skills right on top. Regardless you will learn more in 5 days here than 10 days at many other schools.

Topics in this class begin and end with a proper fighting mindset. You will be taught TRUE firearms safety, the Survival Principles, shooting fundamentals, grip, proper draw, tactical gun handling, ready positions, malfunctions, proactive and reactive reloads, F.A.S.T., anatomical stopping power, kneeling, primary only and off hand only shooting, turns and pivots, covert ready, ground fighting, shooting on the move in all directions, precision and speed shooting drills, proper use of cover and concealment, firing from retention position, primary only and off hand only malfunction drills, Tueller drill, non-traditional shooting techniques not taught at any other school, drills involving interpersonal violence, hostage rescue shooting, vehicle tactics, home defense, a brief but complete lesson on gunshot wound treatment (blood loss, airway and tension pneumothorax), low-light lecture and practical training, multiple targets, decision making, team work, communication, Force of Force gunfight simulations, and many high stress SWAT/SOCCOM level drills that you won't do anywhere else.

5 days / $1,150

Tactical Response - Fighting Pistol Mobile - Palmyra, PA - Aug. 3-4, 2013

Via James Yeager:

"I will be teaching a Fighting Pistol class in Palmyra PA this weekend. It is a small class that was overflow from a sold out class. We have slots if you want to shoot.

I HAVE NEVER OFFERED THIS BEFORE - If you cannot afford ammo but you want to attend you may hang out at the class and watch, listen, ask questions and learn for HALF PRICE. Hell bring a blue gun and run the drills dry. This location this time only. Ask ANY Alumnus and they will tell you the lectures are worth the price of admission. When you sign put "Yeager said I can listen for half price." in the comments box."

Fighting Pistol Mobile

2 Days/$500

The root word to "gunfight" isn't "gun".

It is "FIGHT"!

This is the course everyone is talking about! It is the most comprehensive 2-day handgun class in the world! This course is literally a life saver. Our Fighting Pistol course prepares you to prevail in a real world violent confrontation and many students have gone on and done just that! This intensive course covers an incredible amount of material in just two days and we have been told that it covers more than any 5 day course at the "big schools".

Topics include the role and attributes of the handgun, legal aspects of deadly force, anatomical stopping power, mental conditioning for combat, movement and communication. Live fire drills include both one- and two-handed shooting, shooting on the move, use of cover and concealment, loading and reloading, using both eye level as well as retention techniques, at a variety of ranges and from a variety of body positions. This course is about 40% lecture on mindset, tactics, skill, and legal issues but don’t worry because you will still be shooting a minimum of 750 rounds while you are on the range!

Good to initiate shooting events to get new people shooting.

Sorry for re-posting but I posed this in the wrong thread

We hosted a boy’s survival event for Boys and their Dads this year.

The event was an over night tent sleep over, a canoe race down a cat tail creek, shooting exploding targets with a scoped 223, tomahawk target throw, slingshot shoot to galvanized tubs, BB gun shoot to clays on stands and a hot dog campfire closing lunch.

We a had a lot of boys and dads (22 teams) some who were not shooters but with being a safe organized and fun event we introduced shooting to some people new to the activity.

They all enjoyed the event.

Rangemaster Dynamic Marksmanship Course, Baton Rouge, LA

This is Rangemaster’s last road class for 2013. If you have been planning to train with us, come on down. This is a very nice police range and the weather should be perfect in December. Your primary instructor will be Tom Givens, assisted by other Rangemaster staff.
Dynamic Marksmanship Course
LSU Police Range, near Baton Rouge, Louisiana (St. Gabriel, LA)
December 7-8, 2013 Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-6:00pm both days

This is a very intensive two-day handgun course covering the essential skills involved in fighting with a handgun. Expect to fire right at 1,000 rounds. (If you don’t have enough ammo, you can do some of the drills dry.) This course does not have most of the classroom tactics and mindset material covered in Combative Pistol. Instead, this course is focused entirely on shooting better in the defensive context. The drills are demanding and you will be a better (faster and more accurate) shooter afterward.

Cost is $425 and advance registration is required. To register, call Rangemaster at 901-370-5600.

This is an intensive weekend course that covers all of the essential skills involved in fighting with a handgun. There is an all day session Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. This course picks up where CP1 ends. Students will be challenged with progressively demanding drills.

Topics covered in this course will include:
• Rapid presentation from concealed carry
• Effective gun handling techniques, designed to work under stress
• Rapid reloading techniques
• High speed accuracy at close ranges
• Precision shooting at mid-ranges
• Movement skills
• Disability Drills
• Proper defensive mindset and more.

Expect to fire about 1,200 rounds of ammunition. This course is designed expressly for the armed citizen who carries a concealed handgun, or the plain clothes or off duty police officer.

You will need a good handgun, holster, belt, and magazine pouch, at least three magazines, a ball cap and concealment garment (vest, jacket, windbreaker, etc), eye and ear protection, and rain gear (we train rain or shine). A cooler with soft drinks, snacks and lunch will be needed. We will not be leaving the range campus for lunch.

You will need a quality handgun and gear. It is a good idea to bring a second gun just like your primary, in case something breaks on your primary gun. Please bring good quality ammunition. You will shoot better, your gun will function better, and you will learn faster.

Your primary instructor will be Tom Givens, of Rangemaster, assisted by other Rangemaster staff members. Tuition is $425.00.

The training will take place on a private range near Florence, SC. Directions to the range will be sent prior to class. Contact our local host, Richard Wright, labradorone@bellsouth.net .

Yavapai Firearms Academy(Louis Awerbuck) will be in central MN in August from the 1st-3rd for a 3 day carbine course. Cost is $650. For registration and gear list go to patroltactical.com or email me at mike@timmtraining.com. There is plenty of room at this time. We have room for 20 slots and have about 8 spoken for.

I will also be hosting a 2 day pistol course from Dave Spaulding on September 2nd and 3rd this year. Cost if $450. Email me at mike.davis@crowwing.us and I will get info(registration, hotels...etc). I am hosting this through the SO that I work for. Space is limited on this course as I only have 4 of 18 slots left.
