Who's your go-to parts supplier for AR build?

Palmetto need not apply. The vast majority of their site is "out of stock" components.

Looking for recommendations on reliable (doesn't have to be the cheapest) suppliers with good customer service and quality materials (that they actually keep in stock). This will be for a .308 "AR-10" build.

Thanks!

Their 308 parts are all out of stock as well.

Anyone got a recommendation for a site that keeps parts in inventory for actual sale?

Palmetto state armory without question.

However given your requirements of in stock I'd say Wilson combat. Sell a kidney.

Your other options are Brownells, MidwayUSA, and AimSurplus.

Well, PSA is my go to source.

I agree that their site can be annoying to navigate since they list every product whether in stock or not, and do not have filtering abilities to only see in stock product.

That said, I am usually just patient and things always trickle in in the configurations I want. I actually have a complete lower on the way from them as we speak. It was one of the Christmas Deals - complete PSA lower with Magpul furniture.

PSA is my go-to source for AR-15 builds, but as the OP stated, they don't typically have much in the way of AR-10 parts.

Leaning towards JP Rifles for the important stuff.

Looking to build something with rifle length gas and a fluted match barrel. Something similar to a Larue OBR without all the military bling.

Bubbagunsite or some such, seekins, superior barrels, hogan sights, can't remember where I got my rainier upper from. Bought my spikes lower from a gunshow. And my lmt full auto bolt. Guy threw in a few improved followers for free.

Joeboboutfitters maybe. I can't recommend the kies adjustable gas block and their customer service doesn't exist.

AR-10 or LR308?

Are you asking about AR-10 Format or LR308 Format?

DPMS LR308 format. Better parts availability. My bad on the naming.

Best,

In reality, in most circles the term "AR-10" has become synonymous with ARs in the .308 cartridge length.

If we begin tracking .308 formats, there will be a whole lot more than just AR-10 or LR308...

I've used JSE Surplus in the past. But LR308 stuff is hard to find right now.

My experience with S.A.A. has been excellent!

I've been buying from Surplus Ammo & Arms for years. Their quality is excellent and their inventory is updated daily. High quality stripped upper, lowers, BCG'S, barrel's. Named brand parts and accessories from top to bottom for your next build. http://www.surplusammo.com/
