Praire Dog hunting CO and some 10/22 questions
I have lurked on this forum to read a lot of reviews and get some info. Seems like a legit place and I wanted to join and ask some questions. I am not a gun expert but know more than the average person.
I just picked up a ruger 10/22 and my brother is flying in from out of state and wanted to go prairie dog hunting. I live in Colorado Springs and I am looking for somewhere free to go and it would have to be on private land as public is out of season. I also am looking for a scope and a scope mount and I am open to suggestions. Many thanks in advance, Vaughn |

I used an old Weaver K4 with Weaver mounts on my 10/22. Worked just fine for what I'd call ".22 distances". Mine was picky about ammo, and it was not until I tried CCI QuikShok that I got decent groups.
