New Revolver

Went down to the club today. Shot a friends "Shooters Model" Remington.
Shot real well at 25 yds. Last shot was a "X" so I brought it home. Really locks
Up tight. The blue job reminds how they used to do the old Ruger Super Blackhawks. Real deep and pretty. These are very accurate.

Very nice gun. You keeping it? I know I would be happy to own it, heck, I'd just like to shoot it.

kwhi43, what size balls are you using? I have a Shooters model too, made about 8 years ago, and use .457, but it is not quite as accurate as an older Shooters model I used to own made in the '80s that used .457.

I loaded up five shots with the .457 ball and they went left in the white . I then
Tapped the front sight over to the left about 1/32 and loaded five with the .465
Ball. They all went into the black. This I shot at 25 yds free hand. Load was
18 grs Swiss black powder. I will be using the .465 balls.

Thanks for the info. I can't find anyone that carries .465 round balls, not even Track of the Wolf. Do you have a special mold?

No, I bought mine back in 1972. It is a Lee mould. I don't think Lee makes
A .465 anymore. It is a single cavity. Want me to send you some?

WOW - .465" that's pretty good size ball. I'd be hard pressed (pun intended) to get that one loaded into my Pietta chambers. The .454 rb is tight enough!

What is this particular brand of revolver?
