Found .224 bullets!!

Saw them on Amazon of all places. Allegedly Hornady Brand .224 55gr FMJ-BT w/Cannelure, 20 bucks, 7 dollars shipping or thereabouts. When I get them in the mail, I'll let everyone know how they turned out.

Either the seller took the sale down, or Amazon did. It gives me a 404 message now when I try and go back to the page.

Makes me think he hit the midway stock and turned around selling on amazon for a profit.

boss at work has a new contact for said stuff. 2 weeks ago I ordered 300 Honady 60 gn V-max,4 lbs Varget and 500 CCI-BR2 primers. I have all but the primers in hand already. Ran into Scheels last week and managed to get another 400 60 gn v-max and 2 lbs IMr-4064.

I dunno. At 20 bucks for 200 there couldn't have been that much profit. Horndady wanted 20 for 100.

Got my 200 55gr FMJ-BT Not a great picture, but there's 200 of em. They were from Amazon. They came in a hand labeled baggie, so whether they're actually Hornady or not I couldn't say as I don't have others to compare. But I'll be sticking Amazon in my list of online retailers to check when I do my rounds.

Besides getting the 55 gr Zmax at Wideners, yesterday I got some 65 Sierra GK at Powder Valley and 64 gr Nosler bonded SP at Midway for a good price.

Don't forget, jacketed .223" and .225" bullets will almost certainly work as well.
If you don't KNOW the groove diameter of your barrel, you're just guessing at what bullet diameter might be best.

Dang it man! Here I thought I was the only one going after the 60grainers! lol Everyone seems to be snatching up the 55's and I'm just wanting a stock of 60's! Congrats on the find! In another week or so, I'll be reloading quite a bit with whatever projectiles I have on hand... it's been awhile since I've checked.

1000 for $150 ; includes shipping

From his website description:
"BULLETHEADS COM Product 1 logo 223 55 grain FMJ 7° Angle Boat Tail with cannelure. Diameter .224. These have the traditional drawn copper alloy jacket and lead core. NON MAGNETIC. Factory new bullets not pull down (recycled) bullets. Free Shipping. MADE IN THE USA."

If that's not expensive enough for you, try these:

1000 for $259....

any good?

Valley Forge - have you ever used the bullets from bulletheads?

Their website seems a little sketchy to me, and I have never heard of them. If anyone can recommend them, I will give them a shot.
