I agree, you don't want to find out that it will jam up at 1001 the hard way.

Thanks Dragline45. So close to my chosen words on a typed response i had and canceled it.

Bs 100,000 and cleaned every 5000...prove it even shoots! Makes no sense to me.

Yes i have a dirty car at times but my guns are always clean!

I like a Glock as much as the next guy but this mythology really gets my knickers in a bunch.

My weapons never need to be cleaned. I clean them way before they get to that point.

All guns have to be cleaned, but some guns can go without cleaning for a long time before you get a malfunction, like the Glocks.

JY's interesting Youtube clip...

James Yeager the controversial Youtuber who lost his TN concealed license(which has since be re-instated as of 04/2013) has a interesting clip online of how to oil/use gun care products on a standard Glock pistol.
JY uses what he calls the 3-2-1 method. He displays a model 19 then adds 3-2-1 drops or dabs of GunButter.

It was informative. The take-away from Yeager & other trained Glock armorers/LE dept gunsmiths is NOT to use excessive amounts of grease/CLP/gun oil/etc.
