Went shooting with dad again yesterday. He is still grinning from ear to ear! We made sure the gun had a good 100 yd zero for his eye. He was hitting paper plates at 100!

This thread helped inspire me to finally get my dad out to the range. He hasn't shot in over 20 years but brought out his S&W .357 mag that he carried in Vietnam with him. Had a great time.

Your story is silly...
If you had started with an AK instead he would of loved it from the start ![]() ![]() And you wouldn't even have to worry about telling him to clean it ![]() I'm glad he's happy though, I believe every able bodied person should have something to defend their home and country with.
