Where to buy ...

I have a Ruger P95 -

Would like to pickup some additional clips - came with 2 and I believe they are 15 round clips.

Checked Ruger and - cough cough cough ... proud of their clips.

Who makes some good after market clips?

Whose clips would you not purchase?

Thanks

MAGAZINES (not clips), especially high capacity magazines are as about as hard to find as ammo right now. If you want theme now, and If you can find them, you will pay an inflated price most of the time.

There are P95 magazines listed on Gun Broker. http://www.gunbroker.com/Ruger-P95/B...ords=Ruger+P95

And some 10 round magazines on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ruger-P95-10...-/180972109721

At least as of a couple minutes ago when I did a google search for them.

Stop and think ...

Maybe I am a bit unfamiliar - with terminology. In fact when you said that I googled and it was noted that clips were many times used in error by many - both familiar with and unfamiliar with guns.

If others would be more difficult they better pull their heads out of their backsides and realize their response might create an enemy of the shooting sports.

Civility and politeness is always the best approach and if not attainable, then nothing said is the best path.

Enough of the bickering, folks.

Which Ones

Cheap ...

Are there manufacturers you do not want to buy from - in other words looks good but don't perform as needed?

Are there manufacturers that you normally would rather have in a gun?

I try to stay with the manufacturers magazines If possible. Others may have opinions on good aftermarket mags. I do know that I have had problems with some of the cheaper aftermarket magazines in my AK, and AR rifles.
I'm not sure on the Ruger P series, but the prices asked for the ones on the websites I shared don't seem to be too far out of line. Around thirty bucks is pretty common for magazines even before the buying panic.

There has always been many complaints about the after-market magazines sold under the name, "USA". If I remember correctly, they changed their name...most likely to escape from the bad press they were getting. They were crudely finished and cheaper than the other after markets.

Many times Mag prices are dictated by how many folks supply them. 1911 Mags are produced by tons of manufacturers cause all 1911s basically use the same mag, regardless of what brand it is. Thus 1911 mags are fairly easy to find and reasonably inexpensive, even for the highest quality. Brand and model specific mags are generally produced only by or for a manufacturer and very few aftermarket companies compete for their market....thus a higher price. When it comes to this scenario and cheap aftermarket mags, you generally get what you pay for. The exceptions are in cases like the iconic Ruger 10/22 which has to be one of the most prolific firearms ever made. Stick with the manufacturer or other reputable manufacturer, pay a few dollars more and have something you can trust and use at the range without hassle.

I've found mags to be cheaper (original factory) at Midway.
On another occasion I found them at my LGS.
You lust have to search around.
