PPQ Holster

I love my Walther PPQ but it is darned hard to find a holster for it. I would prefer a paddle holster but would consider an IWB.

Any suggestions?

for iwb, check out FIST. they have a whole line of good iwb. i prefer the 1A model, because it has a slight forward cant. i also prefer the kydex version of this because it is thinner and retains the pistol better. you can order any of their holsters in kydex by adding a "K" to the end of the part number. so i always order "1AK"

for paddle, it's hard to beat fobus.

I would think that most any holster made for the P99 should fit the PPQ. Maybe check with the guys at waltherforums.com

Not quite... they are close... but that only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades

I had a kydex for the P99 with rail that fit a PPQ, but I suspect that would be hit or miss.

I have a raven concealment for mine. There's a bit of a wait and they're not cheap, but it's well worth it in my opinion.
It's kydex, but remarkably comfortable IWB, and can also be set up to be worn OWB if the occasion ever demands it. I think they also make a pancake module for it - or something they call "pancake wings". In any case, It was one of the few PPQ options out there when I got mine, but I liked it so much I've got them for all my carry guns.

What you want to check out is the Fobus PPQ. Locks like a Glock. Very comfy for high hip.

Definitely check out the link balance posted. The Walther board is a great resource.

Personally, my PPQ rides in a DeSantis Speed Scabbard.

Walther holsters....

For the newer PPQ pistols, see the long list of holster firms in the gear & accessories area. There are few top brands that may have PPQ holsters: Bianchi, Safariland, Blackhawk, Don Hume, Mitch Rosen, Kramer, Alessi, Tex Shoemaker, El Paso Saddlery, High Noon Holsters, Kirkpatrick Leather, Mernickle.

YMMV but my PPQ fits perfectly in my P30 holster. Outside of this I also recommend FIST as I have several and they are high quality leather.

I was at the LGS last night and found an Blackhawk Serpa for the HK P30 and it fit my Walther PPQ perfectly

Before I gifted mine...This is crazy and may sound crazy...

But that DeSantis hybrid horse hyde and kydex holster made for an M&P 9 fit my PPQ perfectly

I have one on order, I should have it by the summer.

N82 Tactical was working on a "pro" series holder for the PPQ. For now they have an origional version.

I will buy a pro version when it comes out also.

Been thinking of getting a Crossbreed too; they are out there! The PPQ is no longer a "new" gun like the Caracal or XDS.

A Ted Blocker DA3 or a High Noon Tailgunner are both great choices that the company will make to fit your gun. I have one of each and they are both first quality. I personally like the Ted Blocker DA3 better, it feels like it stays where you put it a little better.

Blackhawk SERPA, Safariland...

I think Blackhawk markets a paddle/belt SERPA model for the Walther PPQ. It may be the P99 but you can check; www.blackhawk.com .
Blade-tech, Galco, COM Holsters, FIST, Don Hume, Safariland, Bianchi-intl, Ted Blocker, Mernickle, Kramer Leather, Del Fatti, Alessi, & DeSantis may also have a Walther PPQ holster.

I'm not fond of paddle carry but many like it.

FYI the N82 Tactical PPQ Holster is now OUT

http://n82tactical.com/n82store/

I am having some trouble ordering it but it may be my work computer.

Edit: Managed to order it, will post a review when I get it. Typically it doesn't take much longer than a week to get holsters from them.

I have a Versa Max 2 from Milt Sparks for my P99 / P99c; I think he can make them for the PPQ also. Great holster, well liked in the Walther community.

Interesting question for some of you guys, I just added Trijicon night sights to my PPQ and they are a lot higher than the stock sights. In general are holster makers taking this into account or am I liable to run into issue using a "hard"(like a Kydex) holster?

Question answered: The N82 Tactical works with Triji's installed
