legality of AK pistol
I live in NY and am thinking on building an AK Pistol. But with all these new laws on the other side of the Berlin Wall Im wondering if it would still be considered and a pistol or if it would some how fall under the assualt weapons Ban b/c it looks evil?

The presence of a flash hider/muzzle brake and a bayonet lug will be issues. It will also be very difficult to find legal magazines for it. This is one place and time in which you really don't want to take any chances.

The barrel shroud could also cause problems.
