Help with P226 and duracoat please!

I recently duracoated my P226 .40 and since I cannot get the gun back together. I have duracoated Glocks but this is the first Sig I have ever applied it to. Finish was rough before but it functioned perfectly now the barrel will not lock all the way up and clear the frame to be put back together. I have looked at all I can think of that will keep it from locking up and still cannot get the barrel to lock up. I pray I have not messed up my gun just by Duracoating. If anyone has any ideas please help me here.

The barrel when it goes to lock back up is about a 32" of an inch from locking all the way up.

If I understand your problem correctly, you will want to remove a tiny bit of duracoating from the very end of the underside of the barrel, where it comes in contact with the bottom edge of the hole in the muzzle. Conversely, you could remove material from the bottom edge of the hole in the muzzle.

You were 100% correct. It was surprisingly very little keeping it from fitting.
