Being 6'6" 275, i know what you mean. the xds and walther pps are great concealable pistols. just don't use the flush fit mag, and you will be fine.

Glock's are good for guys with big hands...and they've probably got just the model/caliber you fancy. I'd find a range with rental guns and try a few out...as to revolvers, one of the Smiths would fit you. J frames are for smaller hands, but a K, L, or N frame might work out...all are available in 2-2.5" barrels; and used might be comparable to a Glock in price. If you're retired military, LEO or with an airline background, look into Glock's special pricing policy for those individuals...it'll save you a considerable chunk of change. Rod

I'm a big guy with bit hands. My EDC is a Glock 19. Yeah, it's smaller than your Beretta, but I have no trouble carrying it. I've also carried a full size 1911 before in T-Shirt and shorts. The trick is a good IWB holster. There's several out there that will work. What I use comes from www.concealmentsolutions.com and is their Black Mamba holster. It's comfortable, adjustable, and can carry damn near anything in it without much issue.

HK P2000 is great. Meets in the middle for pretty much anything you'll need.

Sig P229, get the Hogue wraparound grips with finger grooves. The grip becomes ridiculously large. With that said, I recently started shooting guns with small grips (not short) and haven't had the problems I thought I would.

My MDC (most days carry) is a CZ-75BD in 9mm. When I got my first IWB holster for it (Galco Scout) I found that it worked ok if I wasn't going to sit or move or anything. I put it aside, and would often carry it in a pancake style holster from Barsony leather- good holster, and actually concealed very well for OWB. I just got an Old Faithful IWB holster for the CZ, and it makes a world of difference. I had it on the other day, with under 1 hours wear in it, and was able to get around walmart and one of my LGS's with no discomfort and little to no print- and that was with 2 spare mags on my belt. I like the CZ because it is extremely slim at the barrel, making it easy to conceal. For bigger hands, I reccomend the CZ factory rubber grips- they add some width to the already perfect grip, and would probably work well for you.

I'm on the same page with big hands. I carry fullsized mainly because I can. Being thin and 6'2. The big hands help me pick even more so with my natural setup.

SIG P226, Glock 21, Glock 30, SIG P220...I have carried all of those.

My son just did this he replaced the Beretta with a Bersa 9mm UO Pro compact

I find the 1911 Commander easy to carry and the LTWCommander even better . All carry pistols require a good holster and belt.

I have large hands, and a Kahr CW45 feels very comfortable to me. It's very compact, but has a longer grip, and a grip that is single-stack thin, but just large enough that the trigger pull is comfortable.

I seriously suggest you consider this gun.

I also read that the CM45 is coming out now. Not sure how that one compares in size, but I loved the CW45. Didn't need another .45 at the time, or I would have bought it.

I just got me a G30sf about a week or so ago as well lol. Don't worry. After riding the gen 4. I'm skeptical about new Glocks. Lets wait out the 30s
