Fortunately for us, the first attempt was so ill-managed that nobody even realized it had been done, as the link above describes. However, since the gun control movement is usually astroturfed, it looks like they are going to try and use the remnants of the Obama campaign volunteers to call into Congress and create the appearance of a surge in interest for gun control. If you haven't yet contacted your Congressmen, please do! You can bet they will be hearing from the other side if they haven't already. |
