Scope Ring Question

Can anybody tell me if a 50mm Objective lens scope will fit on a Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD 20in barrel using Medium Height scope rings, with a +20MOA Piccanny Rail??? Scope is a Viper Vortex, 6.5x20-50, scope rings will be vortex... Just worried about barrel clearance...

Rings vary, but you'll likely need higher rings, especially if you want to use a sunshade.

I'm running a Savage 10FP (heavy barrel .308) with a 50 mm Nightforce scope, 20 MOA base and Badger Ordnance medium rings. It clears the barrel with a gap of about 1/8 inch. A 0 MOA base will give you a little more clearance!
