I saw this on another board and signed up myself and my dad. If you go on the website this membership is $1,000 that is discounted to $600. If you use a Life Member then you can get it for $300 and still get the magazine.

I signed up for the life membership, thanks to Mike, Friday (Jan 4) for $300. I knew that this deal comes around every now and then, but you need a life member's NRA # to do this. When I saw Mike's offer, I gladly took advantage of this. I've been looking for an excuse to send the NRA a little money anyway.

I did it today. Hardest part was being on hold (35 minutes).

Once someone picked up he was very helpful and it took about 2 minutes. I was told my membership credentials would be mailed to me in 2 to 4 weeks.

I'm new to this board and already have benefited greatly from signing up... including the info to sign up for $300 life member to NRA (and info on vendors). I have been sporadic in annual memberships over the years. Now I am "locked and loaded" for the duration.

I appreciate all the usefull information shared in our forums. Keep up the good work, everyone! Incidentally, didn't seem to be a cut-off date on Feb 28... since today is March 1... but I would recommend taking advantage soon.
