Ruger SP101 9mm Price Check
Is $950 for a Ruger SP101 in 9mm with some moon clips really the going price on these?

Well all things considered, to me, these basically are a rare find, so obviously in the here and now, although being overly priced, good luck finding one at any price.
If I had one to sell today that's about what I would ask. My self I couldn't see me paying more than $400ish. TBS, I'm happy with my SP101 3" .357 I'm sure I could have it cut for moon clips. |

It depends on where its for sale. Pawn shop/gun shop, thats high... Gunbroker, with several interested buyers... it could go even higher.

Let's see, a 9mm moon clip SP101 over a .357 Moon clip SP101 for almost half. That's just to easy.

9mm ammo...50 rounds = $11. 357 ammo... 50 rounds = $27. Thats why I bought my Taurus 905

For $950 it better be a Ruger Redhawk .454 Casull. I think the snubnose 9 mm is just a bragging right type of gun, nice but not $950 nice. Some folks have more cents than sense.

At least $300 too high, skip it, if you look around you can find them in the $600 +/- range. They don't bring the same money as the S&W 9mm revolvers.

I don't see a lot of them, but the ones I have seen sell for ~$550-600.

Thanks guys! I would REALLY like a 9mm revolver as I have settled only having the 9mm caliber at this time for center fire hand guns but I just could not stomach that price.

Right now pricing on everything is whacked out, a .327 SP101 just went on Gbroker for $950.

DTrain... consider this instead of the SP101 9mm. You can buy one for half of what they are asking for that SP101. Mine is blue, but they are available in stainless also.

You could always buy the regular SP and have one of the better companies make you a 9mm cylinder

I saw one for sale in a gun shop around here (another guy bought it while I was trying to get the salesman's attention). It was under $400 in MINT condition. I would have loved to take that gun home, but it would have just been a novelty. For $900, they better be giving you 3 of them.
