Allow me to translate for the Yanks that may have data for you:

AR2208= Varget

AR2209= H4350

If you compare the ADI tables to Hodgdons' tables you'll see that Hodgdons uses the ADI data as is.

My question about the Mauser...is it a M 94,96,38 Swede or is it on a '98 action?

Perform search using my translations to find older threads for the 6.5x55.

I haven't used these powders so I can't offer you any proper advice here. My data is from different powders than those you listed.

This is the data for Varget and H4350 from Hodgdon's website. I bold texted the load that should duplicate the "modern" Swede service and competition ammunition the best. The older 160gr load would be fine if you had an old M96 with original ladder sights.

129 GR. HDY SP Hodgdon Varget .264" 2.935"
34.0 2472 36,900 CUP 37.5 2664 46,000 CUP

140 GR. SPR SP Hodgdon Varget .264" 3.030"
32.5 2312 37,500 CUP 36.0 2528 46,000 CUP

142 GR. SIE HPBT Hodgdon Varget .264" 3.050"
34.0 2334 38,100 CUP 38.0 2559 45,700 CUP

40.0 2430 35,100 CUP 45.5 2703 45,500 CUP

I can't remember the exact charge, but I've had my best results (in a Swedish mauser) using IMR 4350. I almost exclusively use the Hornady 140gr bullet, and I load it to about 2650fps. This is a fine load in my Swede, giving almost monotonous 1" groups at 100yds, as long as I don't jerk the trigger.
I imagine the H4350 would give similar results.

I tried a couple of loads with Varget, but wasn't as pleased with the results. I admit I didn't do a thorough, exhaustive study of the Varget, but it didn't seem to produce as nice a result. You might have excellent luck with it, however... it is a nice powder.
