Diet soda, high fructose corn syrup, leaded gasoline, Fox News Channel... all have been proven to cause crime.

Mrbatchelor...couldn't agree more. Laws like what was just past in NY typify a certain and very tangible type of disease...the disease of the mind caused by a highly infectious pathogen of ignorance and fear. Unfortunately, the only effective way to treat this disease is to "kill" the patient. Sad but true.

Please note that I am only speaking figuratively, not literally, but nevertheless, ignorance and fear are highly contagious and all the logic and rational "treatment" will only work on all relatively small percentage of the infected.

Curiosity yields evolution...satiety yields extinction.
