Speer small pistol 45 ACP brass question

Hi folks
Long time since I've posted. I've recently bought 2 Blue label G21s (gen 3 and gen 4) and have stocked up on supplies for feeding them over the next few months. I bought 1000 Speer once fired small pistol primed brass. Other than using small pistol primers are there any other concerns vice large pistol primed brass?

Sorry. I'll add that I'm relatively new to reloading and have reloaded about 4000 40 S&W for my G23 with good results on my lee pro 1000.

You will likely get a LITTLE lower velocity with small primers.
I tried four loads with large and small primer brass and the smalls were 25-40 fps less. Not enough to worry about unless you are crowding the minimum power factor for USPSA or IDPA.

I saw no other difference, load in confidence.
