ExtremeShockUSA.com, out of business?...
Do any TFL forum members know if Extreme Shock USA is still active or in business? I couldn't view the website and a few online posts say the company didn't fill orders or ship ammunition. I purchased a few .38spl rounds in 2004 & was not impressed. The QC & design were not very good.
The company seemed a bit out there & bombastic too. Names like; "Air Freedom Rounds" in the post-9/11/2001 era seemed tacky, IMO. Clyde

I got my signature from them... cost more then fang faced rounds and air freedom rounds combined...
![]() Honestly is it really that surprising? That place was a joke.

Not to worry, you can still find their .308 hollowpoint ammo for a mere $65 for a box of 20 rounds.

So...
Does that mean Extreme Shock went under?
I recall the 2000s era gun press articles saying how these rounds were better than sliced white bread or Hershey's chocolate milkshakes. I also saw catalogs & retail sites with low prices; $6.00-$7.00 USD for 6 round packs(9mm .40S&W, .357sig, .45acp, etc). I guess no more; fang-face!

Couldn't find it but I can almost swear I read they were in the end bought out. Not sure why they went out of business, each box was a arm and a leg in price..

RBCD.net; DRT?....
Thanks for the clever post Tom, that was part of my point. Macho, high-speed BS only goes so far.
![]() As the old military saying goes; "It's not what you spew, it's what you do." I'm also curious about www.RBCD.net & the little known; DRT line of frangible ammunition. There's been a few gun press items but no real support for these rounds. Any input would be helpful. Clyde

At TFL - capitalized statements are not evidence.

That's hilarious. I'm pretty tacticool, I like quad rails and mounted lights, but there are limits. Anti-Terrorist? For the love of Pete, they're catering to the very worst of us.

We have Anti-Terrorist Matches?
Where do we enter those? Can you have one in a state with a hi-cap/assault weapon ban? Do we need "match grade" or is ordinary "anti-terrorist" grade ammo allowed at these matches? Inquiring minds want to know?!

Glenn, I disagree. Capitalization does make evidence, and turns any statement into fact. Example: ALBERT EINSTEIN CAUSED THE EXTINCTION OF THE DODO!! See. It's a fact, and its own supporting evidence, now.

I did an a live fire anti-terrorist match with really realistic targets.
My 62 grn FMJs worked just fine. And when they didn't, well, sometimes we had on call CAS. What I've always wanted is some of those 12 ga shells that have two balls with a piece of chain connecting them....that is what the real "operators" use.
