16 inch barrel for a glock 17?
i know they made these at one time. but they seem to be hard to find now. does anyone know where i could get one?

Nope, I do not. You could always buy a standard 357 sig barrel and get the same velocity!

I think adding a stock to an existing pistol grip requires federal taxes and paperwork. The MechTech upper has an attached stock so is considered legal as-is. The ATF recently deemed it legal to replace the pistol slide with the carbine upper...and back again.

Yep! Adding a shoulder stock makes it an SBR.

There was a guy importing these from Impulse Gun Barrels in Austria.
http://www.mdwguns.com/Imports.html That kit on Gunbroker is a way high price compared to what MDW was selling them for. But there was some blurb on his site a while ago that he got into a conflict with IGB in Austria - didn't like their business pracices or something. He also posted on Glock.com that he has some left over inventory that he's trying to move you might send him an e-mail: sales@mdwguns.com. |

i have 3 glock 17 handguns. i would like to make a "rifle" out of a gun i have lots of mags for.
