Thank you sir. I am pleased with it so far.....
It will only get better! Especially since that is the gun that you had your heart set on

You definitely picked a great rifle, enjoy it!

Gotta admit, I'm a bit jealous. The only "416" I could afford is the .22cal version

Congrats

I actually like the looks of the 416 .22. It makes me almost wish I had not bought my CMMG AR's in.22. I would like to try one, that is for sure.

The 10.4" is my dream AR... in The Unit they use it a few times, MSgt Mack Gerhardt uses one in the episode they have the French guy with a memory card of terrorists surgically installed in his body... he has the HK 416 10.4" with an EOTech and the look of it, with the specific pistol grip and stock and handguard the HK 416 has, with the short bbl, and the EOTech up top... it just looks amazing.

I looked online and at HKparts I said Notify Me a few months ago when the 10.4 uppers came in. *** THEY JUST EMAILED ME, $5000 FOR USED POLICE TRADE IN UPPERS ***

* Five. Grand. For ...Police Trade Ins. *. And SBRs aren't even legal here. I wanted on just in case we move this eyar.

Awesome! Congrats! The only issue I have with the gun is that atrocious stock. Not sure how it us ergonomically, but ugly as hell. Looks like an Nerf or airsoft gun.

I would promptly replace it with... probably.. a Magpul UBR with the panels removed.

Like this (not my pic)

You will want to strangle me, Uncle Malice, I love the stock. It is comfortable to me and I leave it in the zero stop position(fully retracted), due to it being slightly longer. My whole pet peeve is it does not come with a sight tool for the rear sight... It has the cool little HK tool set with it, but no sight tool...ugh.

Don't you love those Euro style rear sight drums? I love the one on my SIG556; at long range it just feels more natural to me.

My experience with the sights is a hundred or so rounds through another MR556, and a few hundred through an MP5N. I am looking forward to it though.
