In search of mosin nagant spare part

When I was working on refinishing my mosin M91/30's stock today, I decided to try and remove the barrel band retainer springs from the stock. I started with the rear one, and well it snapped... Didn't think it would break that easy. Where can I find a new one? Also does anyone know an easy way of removing and installing them?
