My memory is a little fuzzy, but does Texas allow the use of deadly force to stop a property crime?
Yes, a rather notorious but frequently ill-understood TX statute allows the use of deadly force to stop a suspect from fleeing with stolen property, but the statute only applies under very specific circumstances.
