930 SPX forend fit
I'm not able to fully thread the mag extension on as only 5 of the 6 threads on the magazine tube are exposed.
I need to figure out where the forend actually makes contact with the metal on the gun and shave off about 1/8th of an inch. I can either do this inside or modify the outside (front) of the stock where the mag extension meets so the mag extension has a recess to come down another 1/8". What do you think? Where do I trim? Yes, I've tried forcing it down farther, checked everything, jiggled and wiggled. |

NO, DON'T
Do not modify the gun, check your manual. I assume you have the manual?
You may have put the little plastic piece (forearm retainer) backwards. The gun works as shipped. I assume it worked before you disassembled it.

Going to disassemble and reassemble again, it does seem like it's just one tiny thing I'm missing because it's all of 1/8th of an inch. |

Good idea, take it apart and start over.
I clean mine after every trip to the range , but because I only use it once or twice a year each time I'm a bit rusty and have to refer to the manual. Don't forget to check YouTube for videos.
