Any have experience with BPI "Green & Mean" slugs?
I've been loading Lyman Shocker slugs after I couldn't find Barnes Expander kits anymore. The accuracy isn't all that great, & I question the need for a 535 grain projectile for deer. BPI has a full bore diameter slug that doesn't require a sabot (I assume you use a PGS plus filler wads). Does anyone have any experience with these? My gun is an original Browning a-bolt with the fully rifled barrel.

I'm thinking they would work well on deer. A little light at 375 grains for a .729" slug. I would use the 500 grain Hornady soft point in their RSS sabot or their DGS or their LBC BluForce
