I've never seen guns at intimidating, unless someone was pointing one at me.

Once in my youth I had a police officer jump out of his patrol car as it screeched to a stop about 10 yards in front me and shout, "freeze" while pointing his shotgun at me. His partner, the driver, added a very large caliber revolver (looked to be in the 30 mm range
) to the fun a second or two later. These were trained police officers, but both were very excited and a little frightened. Once they determined I was not the bad guy, and just a stupid kid in the wrong spot at the wrong time, all was forgiven. That was about 40 years ago and it still makes my blood run a little cold. To say which weapon was more intimidating would be difficult.

Either a S&W 29/629 in 44 mag or the 625 in either 45C or 45 auto. A revolver full of big bore hollow points that the BG can clearly see in the open end of the cylinder chambers would be quite intimidating.
I love my 1911s, and the death hole is pretty big, but you can't see the gaping maw of the HP in em

When I was a Deputy Sheriff, another Deputy carried a model S&W 29 with a 4" barrel. I never asked the Arrested Suspect after a felony stop of what he thought if the model 29 being pointed at him.
But we all thought it was a lot of of on the qualifying range when he would fire it. back in the early 70s it was bang, bang, bang, bang, boom! and big flash! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I imagine anything with a suppressor is going to look pretty intimidating.

My Ruger Alaskan .44 Mag or Colt Anaconda 44 Mag seem to intimidate but mossberg M590A1 might also work

I had a .25 cal sub-compact pointed at me. It was more than intimidating enough.

Though it'd be more intimidating if you knew the pellets could come out faster than a Daisy rifle's BB's, it's hard to beat any of The Octopuss' toys...
Also what appears to be some sort of 4 barreled flare guns If someone knows if a shotty that short would even be able to break clays at 20yards, I'd totally be willing to build one (or two) . As for the logical justification, see my sig line![]() ![]() TCB

I'm still wondering what Robert1811's basis of the OP is. I sure hope he isn't basing future purchase decisions on intimidation factor. Or worse, that he may think it ok to meet-n-greet utility employees with firearms displayed and "pointed at his [own] waist".
