Buying another Glock
It's time to buy a sub compact .45 to conceal. Both the 30SF and 36 feel comfortable in my hands. Any users out there concealing either?

I had a G30, great gun, but my G27 is a lot smaller.

I've been concealing a 21SF (.50GI) for quite awhile. The 27 is very nice (and small), but I do prefer larger calibers.

My vote for the 30. Had one and loved it. The only reason I let it go was to go all 9mm.

Not sure when you plan on buying but the G30S will be out soon and is another option...

Carried both the 36 and 30...unloaded the 36. Also have the 21, and my anecdotal experience suggests that the 30 is indeed very accurate vis-a-vis the other .45ACPs.

Tell us more about the 30S.
A vote for the Glock 30 & 21 for me too.

Oh. Then Glock 21. I CCW a Glock 21sf. Didn't need the SF just bought it that way. Love that thing. Never a hiccup. 13+1 of all American 230gr .45ACP I recently transitioned it back to nightstand duty with a TLR-1 and I'm carrying a Glock 19 now. Have been for about 5 months now. But before I carry between my 1911's, P226, G21, 17, PPQ...I recently had a revelation to stick to one CCW and its the 19 due to my previous epiphany about basic duty handgun calibers being equal with modern day hollow points.
When I do feel like carrying a .45 the Glock 21 will be one of my first thoughts. Sorry just got an iPhone and my signature with the forum doesn't show up. R.I.P. Samsung Galaxy SII |

My favorite carry gun is a Glock 21 SF. I have concealed it well even under a T-shirt.

Warrior, you carry it under a T-shirt in an IWB holster, right? The 21SF is still a large sidearm. Not sure I'd want to use it as my CCW EDC.

I carry a 30SF on my off-duty days, and carry a 21 to work. The 30SF is a bit wide, and about the same height and length as Glock's 19 and 23 models, so the 30 is really more of a compact rather than a sub-compact. However, if you think you can fit the extra 1/10 of an inch of width into your daily carry, then more power to you (literally)!

I carry it on a belt holster and wear a baggy T-shirt. It does not print at all. I have gotten so used to carrying it that I do not find it uncomfortable at all. I do admit that I also frequently carry a S & W Airweight instead.
