Need Information on Old Remington .22 Pump, Oct. Barrel
Trying to find information on this Remington .22 pump rifle, Pedersen Patent. Letters RW above the serial No. 181xx on the bottom of the frame. I think it might be a Model 12 C . Any information anyone can provide would be appreciated

Sort of a vague request. What sort of info would you like about it?
If you purchase one check the quality of the barrel. These guns are going on around 100 years old. If you can find a good one, they are neat old guns... |

I'd like to confirm that it is a Model 12C and when it might have been made. Also, what its value might be.

Yes your rifle is a model 12 C. One of the finest pump guns ever. Early models did not have the model number stamped on them.

The RW above the serial number is a date code remington used to use.
First letter is the month: BLACKPOWDERX- each letter is a month. Yours would be an R denoting November. The 2nd letter is a year, W stands for 1929 in this case. So you have a model 12 manufactured in November of 1929. Here is a link with more detail and a list of years: http://www.wisnersinc.com/additional..._date_code.htm
