NEBO Protech - Anyone use it yet?
Seems too good to be true at this price point. Anyone have experience with this?
My buddy got one off ebay ($35 shipped) Brightness is off the charts, he mounted it on his G17. Used it for several months now and has nothing but praise for it. I have ordered one myself to try it and see. Con is it uses CR123 batteries which I dislike. like this ![]() http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEBO-PROTEC-...item4abc5fc670 Plus they have some other great looking lights for the money http://www.nebotools.com/

All pistol lights will use CR123, because it's the only battery short enough to fit in it.
Has he fired the gun with the light on? And does it still work? Because that is what matters. |

I bought two Nebo lights with strobe and one was completely DOA and the other would not work unless the bezel was half way off. Took em back that night and ordered a Streamlight TLR-1s. Couldn't be happier with the Streamlight and more unhappy with the Nebo. A guy at the range said he had one on his 12ga that worked good. Maybe my issues were a fluke, but I'm not buying anymore Nebo products.
Most weapon lights I have seen use the CR123 battery. Last edited by Yung.gunr; October 26, 2012 at 06:45 PM. |

I ordered one for $25 a few years ago just to try---it sucked. It was bright at first but died after about 100 rounds on a G34.
